ACCREDITATION TO 2015 – DAC

ASACERT Middle East, the Group’s  UAE branch, enriches its certification package with ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 with DAC accreditation.

Following the positive conclusion of the audits conducted by the UAE Accreditation Body, the range of certifications available to the Group is extended.

ISO 9001: 2015 will replace ISO 9001: 2008, and ISO 14001: 2015 will replace ISO 14001: 2004.

Both previous regulations will be withdrawn at the end of the transition period envisaged for the adjustment, expiring on 14 September 2018, during which ASACERT will pursue its certification activities for the above-mentioned regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Customer Organization.

Organizations already certified under the old version of the DAC accreditation regulations will be able to decide on what occasion to update their certification, always in accordance with the timescales for adaptation.

ASACERT will be able to evaluate the compliance with the new standard with a single audit or, upon request, by a follow-up approach (for example, assessing the compliance during the first audit scheduled and evaluating the implementation of the comments emerged against the new standard during the audit schedule for the following year).

ASACERT will make sure that customers continue to comply with ISO 9001: 2008 / ISO 14001: 2004 for the duration of the transition process. In the event that the Customer Organization fails to complete the transition within the three years following the publication of ISO 9001: 2015 / ISO 14001: 2015, certification can only be restored with a new initial audit.
